Kieran Pearson

BSc (Hons), PgDip

Kieran first became interested in the outdoors as a member of the outdoor pursuits club whilst at high school. Since then he has completed canoeing expeditions in France, Norway and Sweden. Kieran has successfully achieved the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold and Silver Awards.

After completing his own Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Kieran began to volunteer with other Duke of Edinburgh expedition groups and subsequently became a qualified expedition leader. Kieran has been leading and working with expedition groups at all three award levels since 2010.

Kieran has completed the training element of the Mountain Leader (Summer) award and he is currently in the consolidation period before returning to attend an assessment course.

Kieran holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and a Graduate Diploma in Law. Kieran has aspirations to qualify as a Solicitor and is currently studying for an MSc in Law, Business and Management that he hopes will help him achieve this.

–   BCU – White Water Safety and Rescue
–   REC – Emergency First Aid + AED Awareness
–   Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – Expedition Assessor – Bronze, Silver & Gold
