This is a 2 day (16 hour) course designed to assess you against the syllabus competencies but will be run in a relaxed style to help you perform and achieve – so please do not stress about it our course assessors will make you feel at ease throughout the whole process, which in turn will allow you to perform at your best.
Before you book with us, make sure you have done the following
– Attended a Lowland Leader training course (or have been granted exemption)
– Be familiar with the syllabus
– Logged a minimum of 20 walks in lowland countryside in different types of terrain
– Hold a current First Aid certificate, minimum 16 hours and relevant to your work as a Lowland Leader

Once you have been successfully assessed, you can choose to undertake the Expedition Skills Module to further your experience of looking after groups on multi-day camping expeditions.
