An exciting adventure where we attempt to climb the highest peak in the highest mountain range in England – Scafell Pike! This is undoubtedly the classic walk in Lake District National Park. The walk is approximately 6miles (9.65km) (there & back) in length with an elevation gain of 989 metres (3,244 ft) above sea level taking you to the summit of the mountain which is 978 metres (3208 ft) above sea level. Starting at the famous pub, the Wasdale Head, the walk takes you on a route which following the famous meadows & crags to the summit of this great mountain.
