Kieran Pearson

BSc (Hons), PgDip, MSc

Kieran Pearson first became interested in the outdoors as a member of the outdoor pursuits club whilst at high school. Since then he has completed canoeing expeditions in France, Norway and Sweden. Kieran has successfully achieved the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold and Silver Awards.

After completing his own Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Kieran began to volunteer with other Duke of Edinburgh expedition groups and subsequently became a qualified expedition leader. Kieran has been leading and working with expedition groups at all three award levels since 2010.

Kieran has completed the training element of the Mountain Leader (Summer) award and he is currently in the consolidation period before returning to attend for assessment.

Kieran holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, a Graduate Diploma in Law and an MSc in Law, Business and Management. Kieran is currently a Trainee Solicitor working towards qualification.

Mountain Training – Mountain Leader (Summer) Training

Basic Expedition Leadership – Level 3 Certificate

BCU – White Water Safety and Rescue

REC – Outdoor First Aid – 16hrs

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – Expedition Assessor – Bronze, Silver & Gold
