A one-day course of 6 hours aimed at introducing a systematic approach of first aid. This mixed practical learning with scenarios of real situations

The basic First Aider can take control of an incident in the absence of a standard First Aider. He/She can be the Appointed Person within the workplace. He/She ensures that an ambulance or other professional medical help is summoned when appropriate.

–   Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
–   Basic hygiene in First Aid
